Discrimination against physical appearances, darker skin tone?
Now, who are the ones who gave you electricity everywhere? Who are the ones who makes your life better? Who are the ones who went through the hardship and yet receive something that they should receive?

Frankly speaking, the day when Teresa and I had a good talk at Tampines, when I saw the Bangala workers pulling the cables under the scorching Sun, immediately it came to me that they are the ones who set the infrastructure for us. Yet many times they are not being appreciated. Singapore, why is it so?

Okay, lets not talk about Bangalas, I'll talk about toilet cleaners and those who clear our plates at the coffee shops. They are the ones who clean the toilets for us. They are the ones who allow us to have a clean table to eat at. Though they may be slow at clearing most of the time, why is it that people look at them in a way as though they are very dirty? As though they are of lower status in the society?

Okay, report is eating me up. But yes, this is what I have to say. Can't anyone give them a smile? You never know. You might be an angel in disguise.
